Hello

Today is the start of my new blog.  I plan to post my adventures of food from all sorts of size, shape, smell and taste.  I love to eat and am very adventurous to try new things.

Sushi-Burrito

What? You must be thinking what kind of combination is that? Well, it was a tasty one!

We stumbled across this on our way to the market last night. We saw Jogasakiburrito food truck near one of our local video stores. Thought to myself, kind of unusual to see a food truck here. What better to way to find out? We flipped the car around and checked it out for ourselves.

There was a steady line when we got there. Too bad we had already had dinner, but that still did not stop us from trying one of their delectable burritos from the menu.

The menu was not very extensive with nine different burritos and a couple of salads to select from.  We tried the Crispy Salmon Skin Burrito. It was a pretty generous size and definitely can fill your appetite.

A nice soft warm flour tortilla wraps around lightly seasoned sushi rice with flakes of grilled salmon and crispy salmon skins. Also included was some scallions, seaweed, cucumber, and a pickled burdock/gobo (carrot looking thing) to give it a nice crunchy texture.
